Lupita Amondi Nyong’o is a Kenyan Mexican actress and author. Well! She was part of the biographical drama movie named 12 Years a Slave. It was the adaption of the 1853 slave memoir Twelve Years a Slave by Solomon Northup. The film was released in the year 2013 and was directed by Steve McQueen.
For which she received critical acclamation and won the Academy Awards for Best Supporting Actress. Lupita was part of Star Wars sequel trilogy and voice artist for the role of Raksha in The Jungle Book in the year 2016. Recently, she appeared in the horror movie named Us.

She is the daughter of politician Peter Anyang Nyong’o. Initially, she started her career as a production assistant.
